Tonight kicks off a brand new Thursday night residency at the Velvet Underground in Montreal’s Old Port that will be shared between my good friend Kyle Kalma and myself. Each month we will kick it off with a night where we play back to back. The following weeks will be split between one night each where we hold it down alone – the final week of the month being one of us residents alongside a guest.
The concept of the night is START SOFT/FINISH HARD highlighting the Aubere Saint-Gabriel’s (Where Velvet is located) 5à7 menu of foods selected by the Auberge’s chef as well as cocktails designed by none other than maestro Eric Jensen – then transitioning down into the rave cave that is the velvet to finish the night off with dancing.
Kyle and I are really psyched to be playing at Velvet regularly again and we look forward to seeing you all down at the Velvet soon.
