Tomorrow marks the launch of a new weekly Tuesday event at the Terrasses Bonsecours in Montréal’s Old Port.  Featuring a 5à7 entitled ‘Eat The Rich’ with a full tapas-style menu as well as ‘Mardis Casual’ for which I am the resident DJ – Tuesdays down by the water just got a bit more exciting for the duration of the summer.  Get familiar on the Facebook page and holler with any questions or reservations requests.

I have just returned from an amazing, inspiring weekend at the 5Point Film Festival in Carbondale, CO.  My friends at Sweetgrass Productions brought me down to play a party for the film makers community at the festival and before going I really had no clue what to expect. I had never heard of Carbondale before (as I’m sure most of you haven’t) but it was a wonderful place full of skiiers, alpinists, and spirited individuals with a thirst for adventure.

The festival itself is among the most respected in the world as a hotbed for amazing adventure films and as a homecoming for the tight knit community of film makers who show their work during the four days of programming.

I instantly knew I was in for a pleasant surprise when I was picked up from the airport in a bus covered in astroturf and the party that ensued that night at the studio of Carbondale-based Forge Motion Pictures was for everyone in attendance, surely a night to remember (hazily).

I was lucky enough to meet a number of the film makers whoose work was shown at the festival and I have tracked down a few of the shorter films that are available on-line to share with you here:
